About Me
Hey! I am so glad you found your way to my page. I love to meet new people and I am so glad you're here. Let me start off with the basics:) My name is Christy and I am a 31 year old Mom-Of-Many!! I have four biological children and two step-sons. There are a total of 5 boys and 1 girl. (Yay for finally getting my baby girl!! Haha). First and foremost, we are a Christian family and love The Lord with all of our hearts. We attend a wonderful Baptist church in a small town nearby and just love the people there. I am a Registered Nurse and I currently work part-time. I love my job but I wish I didn't have to work at all---don't we all???! I love being a wife to my wonderful husband and mommy to my kids. I am truly blessed to have some very happy and healthy children.
I am self-diagnosed obsessive organizer, neat freak. Can a person have too many containers or highlighters??? Absolutely not! I have containers for my containers! Finding new ways of making my home more functional and the tasks easier are so rewarding to me and it pays off when you have a house full of kiddos who are less than tidy- to put it nicely. I have many hobbies and interests but most get put on the back burner these days. All of you busy moms know exactly what I am talking about! Some of my favorites are crocheting, reading, singing, dancing, scrap booking, shopping, organizing, blogging and cooking. This year I have added one more interest! HOMESCHOOLING! Most people may not see homeschooling as an interest but more of a job or duty. Although we are first year rookies, I view it as an interest more than a duty. I enjoy most every aspect of it so far and I am looking forward to sinking deeper into this lifestyle and journey. This blog was created for the main purpose of documenting and sharing our journey with others as well as connecting with moms who are on the same path. Come along with me and hopefully I can share some of my organizational tips and love for homeschooling with you!
